The Method

Every preparation is slow-reduced — proteins broken down gently, fats rendered from the meat itself, vegetables cooked to the point of integration.

At peak freshness, each pouch is retort-sealed under controlled conditions. No preservatives required. No cold chain dependency. Nothing added to extend shelf life, because nothing needs to be.

Opened and served. That is the entirety of the process.

MOISTURE — 52 to 67%

A raw chicken breast is 75% moisture. Fresh cooked meat sits at 60–70%. Kibble is 8–10%. This is what real food looks like — not a lot of water, the right amount of water.

PROTEIN — 15 to 19%

AAFCO's international minimum for adult dogs is 18% on a dry matter basis. Regent & Tail runs at 34–48% dry matter protein — 2x the global benchmark, from whole tested cuts, not rendered meal.

FAT — 12 to 29%

Fat in Regent & Tail comes entirely from the meat itself — not added oils, not rendered tallow. Dogs metabolise fat as their primary energy source. The AAFCO minimum is 5.5%. Ours exceeds it from natural meat fat, the way it was intended to arrive.

LINOLEIC ACID — 1.6 to 3.1 g/100g

This is the essential omega-6 fatty acid dogs cannot synthesise themselves. AAFCO minimum is 1.1% of dry matter. All three preparations meet this from the fat naturally present in the meat — no separate oil addition required.
